Speech Therapy Workshop

Hadassah Hall Speech Unit offers a variety of intensive workshops for SLPs who work with parents and educators of young children. These highly interactive trainings offer an evidence-based approach and practical resources for involving families and educators to achieve the best possible language outcomes for young children.

This workshop is for parents with children who are aged 0-6, with language delay or impaired language development due to developmental difficulties. It will be conducted by HH speech therapist, Dumebi, who will combine theories in speech therapy and clinical practice for parents, and will individually instruct parents about the strategies when communicating with children with language difficulties. The workshop aims to allow parents to use what they have learnt and engage in a positive interaction with their children, which strengthens children’s communication ability.

Targets: Parents or primary caretakers (This workshop is specifically designed for children who are aged 0-6, not acquired spoken language or only able to use short sentences; suspected Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), diagnosed or suspected language delay or with other developmental difficulties).
