God be praised!!! Being a teacher is one of the most rewarding, difficult, joyous undertaking there is. But we have grown tremendously through our relationship with the children in our care, especially growing into the responsibility that God entrusted to us in giving us these gifts. We are thankful to God for this incredible privilege to teach these precious jewels. We look forward to celebrating ‘The Three’ on their transition to Nursery.
Schools will soon be out for the summer and it is important for children to be engaged over the summer holiday.

Doughnuts with Dad was a special celebration honouring Hadassah Hall fathers and celebrating fatherhood, parental bonds and the role of fathers in shaping the lives of their children.
Our fathers spent the morning having circle time with their kids, networking and interacting with grandfathers. The children honoured the fathers, their hero, by presenting Super Dad medals to the fathers present. The event ended with our Special Grandfather praying for the fathers and the children after a short exaltation in which he stressed: Dads are many things. They are providers, teachers, mentors, spiritual leaders, coaches, and even playmates. But a Dad’s most important job is modeling the love of God to his kids. It was a memorable event which the fathers and children will cherish for their lifetime. The ambience was fun filled with smiles stretched wide everywhere.

On World Environment Day, we are reminded of how important it is to take care of the environment and natural resources we all rely on. Each year, it becomes even more important to learn new ways to protect and preserve our planet for the future. Making our young ones become Environmental Warriors can be easily achieved by giving them a set of really fun and super interesting activities which aids our environment directly. If you’re wondering how your two to four-year-old can make a difference, then think again! And without any further ado here is how we spent our day… We connected with nature (this is vital to becoming motivated to protect it) by having lessons outside and enjoying the fresh air. The children took charge of keeping their surroundings clean, feeding JimJam, the school dog, watering the flowers and talking about the weather.

Wasn’t this fun? With these small, small steps you can teach your child about the importance of protecting our environment and not only just that. They also develop crucial skills which are pivotal to their early development. Saving the environment and enhancing your child’s skills? Now that is one irresistible combo!
Hadassah Hall celebrated Africa Day at the school on May 25 with the theme of “The Arts, Culture And Heritage: Levers for Building the Africa We Want.”
Just like the purpose of the formation of the OAU on May 25, 1963, which was to promote unity and solidarity of African states, defence of their sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence and the eradication of all forms of colonialism from Africa, we want to encourage our children to embrace their cultural diversity and promote unity, and that they must not discriminate against each other as Africans.
We want to teach them our African ways of doing things so that they know where we come from as Africans. That is why we celebrate this day in our school. It must sink in that even though we have different cultures, the fact that we are all Africans means we are one. We must learn to respect our cultural differences and treat each other with respect and dignity.
Our excited children had African-themed lessons and games, sang traditional songs and danced to African music from different African tribes. They also had an African Cookery Class, preparing a main dish of fried Plantain and fried eggs with wish, Chinchin snack and Zobo drink. Teachers and learners from the school looked very colourful dressed in their traditional attires. Parents were gifted African-inspired souvenirs.
As a premium school driven by multicultural diversity we aim to put Africa on the world map as a key player in the education sector. The idea behind our celebration is to encourage cross cultural adoptions and more unity in our community.
On Thursday, May 27th, 2021, our school joined the rest of the world in the Children’s Day celebration in a grand style as we lined up various activities to the delight of our children.
At Hadassah Hall, we seize every opportunity to celebrate our children and engage them in lots of activities that will help their development processes. The celebration (which doubled as a Pyjamas Party) was themed #SugarRush, and took place at the school premises. #SugarRush started with a prayer session as a member of staff prayed for God’s protection, wisdom , favour and sound health for our children and the children all over the world.
Some of the activities at the occasion included an animation movie “Joseph”. The story of Joseph and the discussions around it taught the children about forgiveness. After the movie session, fun activities continued at our playground, as the children had a lot of fun with pool play, games and recreational activities. There was so much to eat and drink. Hadassah Hall also had gifts for the children and refreshments for their parents. The children had so much fun and it was indeed a memorable day. The day served as a reminder to us, to renew our commitment to the welfare of children and teach them to live by noble standards and example. It was the ideal opportunity to celebrate children and childhood, to celebrate our fantastic opportunities to and learn at our nursery and also to share our joy with our families and the community. Many thanks to the families who joined us on this enjoyable day. We hope you enjoy looking at the photos of the event.
Colour Week Do you know colours are the smile.of nature? Can you imagine the world without colours? Do you also know that early identification of colours helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child’s holistic development? Colour week was an amazing learning experience which had a long lasting effect on each student.
It was a celebration of the colours Yellow, Red, Blue and Green. All the children were dressed in the colour of the day throughout the week and engaged in colourful lessons and activities (also centred around the colour of the day). The daily activities began with an introduction of the colour of the day and objects relating with the colour, and other colouring activities. For the entire week, our children glowed in different hues and tints of colours and enjoyed a memorable learning experience in a lively, vibrant and high-spirited environment.
And by the end of such a colourful week, the children became truly aware of the colours and the world around them. Hats off to the excellent team at Hadassah Hall that offers the best system of learning through creative ways that enhance and nurture children into bright youngsters which the world is very much in need of today.
Whether you see it as childcare, or a place to learn, or about meeting friends – the entire premise of schools revolves around safety. Parents send their children to our school to learn because they know their children will be safe here at Hadassah Hall. Our school size ensures there are no distant nooks and crannies (as in large schools) where anything can happen to the children. Routines and strict policies on school safety have been established to ensure that the school is a safe and caring place for every child under our care.
Our school is a full Montessori school. We hope all children who come here will be happy and successful, and look forward to working with you in a constructive and mutually respectful partnership to support your children’s learning.
